Julie Chen Moonves hosted the popular reality TV show in the summer of Big Brother which returned to CBS for the 22nd season on August 5. Chen Moonves had been the first of The Talk's hosts and hosts. She hosted and moderated The Talk between 2010 and 2018, when she was the host. The true passion of her life was writing. In fact, she received an Emmy. Also, she was awarded an Emmy for hosting and outstanding comedy talk show. The Talk examines contemporary events by looking through the eyes of five hostesses. Chen Moonves hosted CBS News' early morning news program The Early Show for a decade. Prior to that she was anchor for the news segment of The Early Show and anchor of CBS Morning News, the morning show of the CBS Television Network, a half-hour broadcast.Chen Moonves covered several major storylines on The Early Show, including the war in 2003 Iraq. After 9/11 the news anchor was sent to Cairo and found the hijacker's lead father for a riveting and shocking interview. Chen Moonves also reported for the Emmy-winning CBS Sunday Morning news show that profiles celebrities such as Paula Abdul. Chen Moonves has also worked with the CBS's New York City station WCBS as a reporter anchor and anchor (1997-1999). Prior to joining CBS News in 1995, Chen Moonves had been as a reporter at WDTN TV Dayton. Her previous jobs include working as a reporter at ABC NewsOne, the network's associated news service (1992-1995) as well as a desk assistant for the ABC News' Los Angeles Bureau (1990-1991) as well as finishing her last year of school at The University of Southern California. She began her career working as an assistant with ABC News, working on the late-night news program Nightline with Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel remains among Moonves' journalistic heroes. Chen Moonves collaborated with Koppel to produce the Columbia du-Pont-winning program Anatomy of a Riot which focussed on events surrounding the Los Angeles riots of '92.
